A partnership agreement was signed yesterday between the International Triennial Earth-moving and Building Machinery Exhibition and World of Concrete, the reference exhibition for the concrete field on the North American market. New business opportunities for building companies.

New international partnership for Samoter, the International Triennial Earth-moving and Building Machinery Exhibition. An agreement was signed yesterday in Dallas between VeronaFiere-Samoter and World of Concrete, the reference event on the American market for the concrete sector organised by Hanley Wood, the main US publisher with a focus on the building industry. Thanks to this agreement, Italian and North American companies will find new forms of collaboration in their respective continents by promoting products and know-how in the construction field.

Samoter and World of Concrete, moreover, will develop joint marketing strategies in order to offer companies business opportunities in Italy, Europe and America. This partnership joins the agreement signed last July between Marmomacc (international marble, stone, technology and design exhibition), and StonExp, the leading exhibition in the USA for marble (also organised by Hanley Wood) consolidates the internationalisation process of Samoter, that in recent years, through Samoter Tour, has focused its attention on countries in Eastern Europe (Rumania, Poland, Bulgaria) and Russia.

The objective of VeronaFiere is also to valorise the world del concrete, thereby confirming the leadership achieved with the series of events – Samoter, Marmomacc, Progetto Fuoco, Legno & Edilizia - involving the building universe. “I am very pleased with this next step in the development of the Hanley Wood Exhibitions and Veronafiere strategic partnership.Less than one year ago, we created a co-brand, StonExpo/Marmomacc America, consolidating its role as the leading North American trade show for natural stone and related technology and design. Today’s agreement between World of Concrete and Samoter will help strengthen both brands in the U.S. and Europe, in the light of the major opportunities offered by the US government with the plan to re-launch the economy worth almost 800 billion dollars, 20% of which to promote the building industry," said Flavio Piva, Co-Chief Executive Officer, VeronaFiere.

 “Hanley Wood is very pleased to expand upon the relationship with Veronafiere. This cooperative agreement will assist in the promotion of WOC to the European marketplace and Samoter to the North American marketplace,” said Galen Poss, President, Hanley Wood Exhibitions. SAMOTER, the three-yearly International Exhibition of Earth Moving, Site and Building Industry Machinery, is scheduled 2-6 March 2011 at VeronaFiere and has the patronage of C.E.C.E. (Committee for European Construction Equipment).

 The new edition comes to the fore with a leit motif of major current interest: sustainability. Objective of the event is to provide an occasion for awareness, training and in-depth analysis of all aspects of sustainability: safety and attention to building processes, the relationship between the environment and the economy, standards and laws for sites, products and tools, ethics and design.

A completely renovated web site and graphics, together with promotional tools in as many as 14 languages to ensure effective exposure to the broadest possible number of visitors. The 2011 edition will once again promote SAMOTER SPECIALS: approaches dedicated to individual trade sectors such as earth moving, concrete, road building, drilling, crushing, hoisting, vehicles and components. WORLD OF CONCRETE is the unique annual and international event dedicated to concrete held for 35 years.
The next edition, in Las Vegas 2-5 February 2010, already proposes and impressive calendar of meetings and seminars with a focus of product innovations, technologies and topics of major current interest in the sector (www.worldofconcrete.com).
 
The Organiser is Hanley Wood, the most important American publisher in the building industry sector with reference magazines such as Big Builder, Concrete Construction, Public Works, Residential Concrete. The Hanley Wood Exhibitions Division manages 18 events, including World of Concrete, that ranks among the 20 most important exhibitions in the country.
