AUTOSTRADA-POLSKA, MASZBUD, TRAFFIC-EXPO - the world of road construction at Kielce Trade Fairs Print E-mail
Companies from Europe, Asia, America; the largest corporations specializing in road construction and special vehicles as well as all the domestic cement mills and steel plants were brought together at the only fair event of this kind in Europe, which is also Poland's second largest trade fair in terms of rented exhibition space. Fair attracted more than 800 companies representing 25 countries. An exhibition space was used for presenting 2,000 pieces of equipment – beginning with devices of small size and finishing with the highest cranes. The four-day-long AUTOSTRADA-POLSKA, MASZBUD, TRAFFIC-EXPO fair in Kielce was visited by 15,000 people.
 
ImageAUTOSTRADA-POLSKA hosted the largest companies specializing in road construction, traffic engineering and road safety. The range of exhibited products encompassed heavy machines and construction equipment, road construction materials, marking equipment and paints, as well as road and motorway utilization infrastructure.

The International Fair of Road Construction Industry AUTOSTRADA-POLSKA is the largest event dedicated to the road construction industry in Poland, in addition to being one of the largest in Europe.  Its prestige and reputation can be testified by exhibiting companies; this year, all the major players on the road construction market were present.  The exhibitors represented countries such as Poland, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, Sweden, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Austria, Czech Republic, Luxemburg, Great Britain, Lichtenstein, France, Denmark, Turkey, Finland, Sweden, Bulgaria, Portugal, Taiwan, China, Korea, and USA. For a few years, this exhibition has been attended by practically all companies whose activity is to a larger or smaller degree related to the construction of roads and motorways. Since Poland joined the European Union, this fair has become a business platform facilitating co-operation between western enterprises and companies operating in Ukraine, Belarus and Russia.

AUTOSTRADA-POLSKA was held simultaneously with the 11th International Fair of Construction Equipment and Special Vehicles MASZBUD, which featured products offered by construction equipment producers and dealers, as well as by producers of auxiliary earthwork equipment, cranes, excavators and loading machines.  

AUTOSTRADA-POLSKA was accompanied by the 5th International Fair of Infrastructure TRAFFIC-EXPO.  The range of products and services exhibited at TRAFFIC-EXPO encompasses road, rail, air and water transport infrastructure; maintenance of the existing transport network, traffic management, safety systems, as well as related technologies and equipment.

The fourth fair event which was held at the same time was the 3rd Airport Technology and Infrastructure TIL. It attracted government agencies responsible for the development of air transport and airport infrastructure, representatives of airport management, local authorities intending to develop or upgrade airports in their regions, representatives of airlines and flying clubs, transport consultancies and law firms, banks, insurance companies, trade institutions and organizations as well as many other companies from Poland and foreign countries offering products and services for the air transport industry.

All the four events, i.e.  AUTOSTRADA-POLSKA, TRAFFIC-EXPO, MASZBUD and TIL, were held in Kielce on 12-15 May 2009.
