Many companies from the constructions industry have proposed to themselves  an increase of the income in 2009 and does not decrease the investments budget for this year. Others say that they will succeed to maintain turnover at least at the same tier with the last year and they come on market with new projects and products. The foreign companies continue to invest in Romania with the aim of achieving their targets on long and medium term.

 

The Hungarian agriculture had been in difficult situations many times before, but now we can say that the whole world struggles with economic downturn. In this kind of situations – but especially now – it's necessiary for the actors of the agro-business to join together and help each other.

 

The Swedish market is down, international exhibitions loose 20-50 percent of their visitors – and yet Swedish MaskinExpo breaks new records. Scandinavia’s largest exhibition for building and construction seems unaffected by the current market drop. MaskinExpo 2009 opened on May 14th and set a new record with 493 exhibitors.

The 20th International Forestry Trade Fair will be staged in Lucerne from 20 to 23 August, 2009. Exhibitors are approaching the trade fair with optimism. In spite of the current economic crisis, optimism and a belief in the importance of the forestry and timber industry today and tomorrow are prevalent.

 

Transylvania's most important agricultural event, the 15th International Trade Fair for Agriculture, Food Industry and Packaging, was opened on 6th of May 2009 in Cluj-Napoca at the Expo Transylvania Trade Center.
