Many participants were parts of the complex: The „IPAR NAPJAI" (Days of Industry) exhibition complex had ended on a successful note at the HUNGEXPO Budapest fair Center. ÖKOTECH has just now joined beside INDUSTRIA, ELECTROSALON, CHEMEXPO and SECUREX for the first time. This time, nearly 500 exhibitors of 16 countries participated at the most significant industrial marketing-communication forum of Hungary. According to the previous data, the exhibitions were visited by more than 12,000 professional visitors.

• Rise in demand for machinery expected Russia’s agricultural markets are set to show a rise in demand for agri-machinery this year – or next year at the latest. This trend was highlighted in a presentation by Vyacheslav Nungezer, Director of the Department of Scientific and Technical Policy and Education with the Russian Federation’s Ministry of Agriculture, during a recent AgroTech Russia exhibition’s council meeting. Russian agriculture is in urgent need of a technological overhaul. Last year in particular around 16,000 tractors were not in working order having reached the end of their working life. Financial dictates in 2009, the year of crisis, meant that it was not possible to purchase fitting replacements for this aging stock.
