Zaragoza, 15th July 2010. SMOPYC’s Organising Committee which includes representatives of the sector’s main companies and associations, met at Zaragoza Exhibition Centre on 14th July to continue preparations for the coming edition of the Show that will be staged from 5th to 9th April 2011. The dynamics of the committee  which is divided into working groups, enabled tasks related to marketing, communications, logistics and services to be tackled more effectively 

The 15th edition of SMOPYC, International Show of Public Works, Construction and Mining Machinery, to be held at the Zaragoza Trade Fair Center from 5 to 9 April 2011, will see a number of important changes and innovations.  Intensified international promotion, a new adjusted pricing policy and substantial improvements to facilities and services are just some of the initiatives being taken by the Steering Committee to ensure that SMOPYC 2011 is even more successful than previous editions.

USETEC, the world trade fair for used technology that celebrates its premiere in April 2011 in Cologne, has a new website. At usetec.com, detailed information about the trade fair for used technology for all sectors is now available in 19 languages. “We have been able to contribute our experience of over 16 years in the market”, says Florian Hess, Managing Director of USETEC organiser Hess GmbH. “We want to pick up exhibitors and visitors right at their doorstep. Detailed information about the USETEC concept in the mother tongue lowers the barrier for a trade fair participation in Germany significantly.” 

Sunday, on the 13th of June, 2010, the 17th Transport-AR, international trade fair for road- and rail transportation, and related services, closed its doors, at the Expo Arad International Exhibition Center. This was the last large scale event in this half year. In the second half of the year, the 21st Agromalim International Fair for Agricultural and Food Industry Goods will began, and will be held between 9-12th of September.  On this year’s issue of Transport-AR, amongst the visitors, there were many professionals from the country – from Arad, Timis, Bihor, Bistrita-Nasaud, Satu-Mare counties and from the capital, Bucharest – as well as from abroad, mainly from Italy and Germany.
