New Holland machine demo, with IKR Print E-mail
In October 2009, a very up to par New Holland machine demo had been presented for the interested professional audience. The event was organized by Ralf Groenbolt and his marketing team at New Holland Construction, and by IKR ZRt.’s education and earth-moving machinery department.

ImageThe aim of the demo was to gave a chance to New Holland machines to prove their power, efficiency, speed and precision by moving large amount of dirt.

The location was near the No 4 road, at Kisújszállás, Hungary, on the construction site of PORR, which provided a stage for the machine demo as a working, vibrating, real construction site.

The stars of the event were the New Holland machine family’s road construction machines: F156.6 grader, D180 dozer, E265B tracked excavator, which were bought by the PORR company in last year.

The machines were handled by Steve Beardmore, New Holland’s demo machine operator, who steered them by using all their abilities to the fullest. With his dynamic performance, he continued to grab the audience’s attention, who were the representative of some European road construction companies from Poland, Romania and of course Hungary.

First the New Holland D180 dozer was presented. Because of the shape of the cab and the large window surfaces, it gives an excellent round visibility to the front blade and to the rear ripper. It has an exclusive Equistatic device: it features a better distribution of linear and torsional stresses to both push beams for a better balance and components reliability.

The next machine was the New Holland E265B tracked excavator. The 28 270 kg tracked excavator is equipped with a dynamic, CNH, 6.7 litres, 6-cylinder, 142 kW / 190 hp, Common rail engine. The audience were able to experience first hand the very low noise level, at the start of the engine. The high power excavator gives a fast and precise performance with its joystick controls.

The 16.2 tonn, all-wheel drive New Holland F156.6 grader has an electronic engine, with two maximum power output: from 1st to 3rd gear 129kW/173hp and from 4th to 6th gear 142kW/190hp. The grader’s soul is the scarifier mounted over the moldboard with the roller mounted, sealed and backlash free slewing ring. The multifunctional moldboard has a slewing range of over 90° on both sides. The machine has a load sensing hydraulic system for responsive and precise control. The machine’s articulated design makes it capable for offset operation.

This event was a great opportunity, to show the power and capabilities of these great machines, as it can be seen on the pictures.
