Motorization reached the traditional wheelbarrows in terms of efficiency. We are more likely to see motorized wheelbarrows with different technological designs and undercarriages at international exhibitions.  From technological and economical point of view one of the most well designed is the American POWER BARROW product family, which had been introduced recently to the European and Hungarian markets. • With the new self-propelled wheelbarrows it's easy to carry any kind of material even on rough terrains. • With the help of the Honda engine and the large wheels the wheelbarrow – even with a 1/3 tonne of payload – can climb over obstacles and up steep inclines. Twice as fast as a tracked machine at 1/4 of the operating cost. • They are exceptionally stable yet the center of gravity allows for effortless load dumping without the added expense of a powered dump mechanism. • Steers as easily loaded as empty due to their intuitive controls, with four forward and one reverse speed allowing you to work quickly and efficiently. The 737 mm wide (see table) wheelbarrow can go trough standard door openings making it a perfect helper at interior renovations. Rocky: The base model for Power Barrow can be ordered with a 198 l steel or polyethylene bucket. This version is the most similar to the motorized wheelbarrows already prevalent on the market. Buddy: The medium model with its 227 l bucket can move a significant amount of material. With its help work becomes easier and more efficient.
